Helmut Wolf - finished (Belatedly) December 2011

So I tried to finish this in time for a competition on Talk Fantasy Football, but didn't meet the deadline.... This is a model from Willy Miniatures.
You've got to love a game which allows players to sneak chainsaws onto the pitch

Videador resin items - Painted December 2011

I ordered some more Monster dice from Videador, and also picked up some undead Turn and Reroll markers:

Along with my order, I received a free gift! It was a 30mm lipped base with a side peice that came complete with a magnet embedded. This works very nicely in conjunction with one of Impact's metal cored balls. The ball carrier can be stood in the lipped base, or otherwise the ball can be removed and placed on the players base as normal.

Orc Apothecary/Igor - painted December 2011

I like sideline pieces when playing Elfball and Bloodbowl. This one is an Orc Quack which I got via a friend from I believe some spanish coaches at this years World Cup. I've been looking for a suitable model to use as an Igor for a while, and am really happy with this one!

He's based on a hex so I can slot him into one of the bigger hex bases similar to the other tokens I've made.

Another Orc for the TFF Legacy team!

We had some dropouts for the TFF legacy team (which is normal) so I've painted another Orc, this time a Lineman so that the winner has a fully playable team! I'm really happy with the freehand chequered patterns and numbering on the pads, even though the rest of the paint job is fairly basic. He'll stand out well enough on the Line of Scrimmage!

I finished my Elfball Gnoll team yesterday! I've not used them in the game yet, but hopefully soon :-)
The models are from Impact

High Elf Blood Bowl Team - Finished 2010

This is my High Elf team, called the Albion Avatars. I've used them in several leagues over the last few years, but only completed the painting in 2010! The models are the Games Workshop ones and the coach is a converted wizard (I swapped his hand holding a sword with one holding a ball instead)

Lizardman Blood Bowl Team - Finished 2003

This is the first Blood Bowl team I painted, back when I re-started the hobby from my school days and joined a league in the Swindon Games Workshop store. They are called the T'Kila Slammers when I use them. The models are from Games Workshop.

Orc Blood Bowl Team - finished March 2011

Here's my Orc team, which I got as a Christmas present last year and originally painted for use in the Swindon 2011 Elfball tournament where I picked up 3rd place. I completed painting the team after that and used them in the Cakebowl Blood Bowl league. The team was called B.F.A (Built for Attrition) and they lived up to the name in the wrong way suffering a string of casualties and deaths to key players. When I use them again, I'll be changing team names for sure. The models are from Neomics.

Dwarf Blood Bowl Team - finished 2005

Here's some pictures of my Dwarf team, which I used in the Bloodbowl grand tournament in Nottingham in 2005. I had a record of 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses :-) I also used them for the Spiky Open in Reading in the same year, with a record of 1 win, 2 draws and 3 losses.

I did marginally better with them in Elfball, where I came 3rd 2010 Swindon Elfball tournament using them as Thunder Hammer Dwarves.

Elfball Desert Dogs - Finished Feb 2010

Here's another team from my back catalogue :-) This is the 2nd Elfball team I painted, which I originally ordered along with the game itself back in 2008.

I spent less time painting these, but I don't think they're too bad considering.

Chaos Dwarf Bloodbowl Team

I finished this team towards the end of 2010. I've had them assembled and undercoated for years and had only managed to paint a few when I used them last in a league. I stripped the painted ones and changed the colour scheme to something I was more happy with. I usually call this team the Blackwater Ravens when playing with them.

These models are from Games Workshop, with the Minotaur being an old 2nd Edition model.

I deviated from the standard orc green hobgoblin skin to go with something a little more palid to suit the underground life these guys are used to. The skin was painted with Desert Yellow, shaded with Devlan Mud then highlights re-applied with Desert Yellow up to Kommando Khaki.
